The development team at Naughty Dog might have just finished working on the core of the Remastered PlayStation 4 version of The Last of Us but the company seems determined to deliver even more features for long term fans via the new Photo Mode for the title, which will be part of the 1.01 patch.

In an announcement on the official PS Blog the studio explains that gamers will be able to activate it via the pause screen in order to freeze the action, although the options will not be offered while cutscenes are playing.

Naughty Dog explains, "Aesthetically, you can add one of ten different color filters and adjust its intensity. You can choose to give your photo a vignette or even select from a selection of eleven different frames. If you like the look of film grain, you can add that as well. There are a ton of options for you to explore."

The video shows how Photo Mode works in The Last of Us Remastered and features tips from Jeff Negus, who is the editor and videographer of the company.

At the moment patch 1.01 for the PlayStation 4 version of the game is designed to be offered on July 29.

The Last of Us Remastered features extra content and improved graphics and Naughty Dog seems determined to deliver more DLC for it.
