FIFA 14 and Call of Duty: Ghosts climb on the podium as well

The latest video game sales chart data from the United Kingdom shows that not much has changed week over week.

Ubisoft's action adventure title Watch Dogs is still at the top, marking the game's fifth reigning week, and the lack of new releases during the week that passed means that there is not much action in the top, even more so since recorded game sales show a 10 percent drop across the board.

FIFA 14 climbs a spot to number 2, while Call of Duty: Ghosts manages to dethrone Wolfenstein: The New Order, taking spot number 3.

Sniper Elite 3, the only game that managed to briefly steal Watch Dogs' crown, falls three places to position number 5.

A considerable boost in Mario Kart 8's sales pushes Nintendo's racing game back into the top 10, while some retailer promotions manage to put Pokemon Black and White back into sight, at positions number 21 and 22, respectively.

GRID: Autosport and PlayStation 4 exclusive superpower adventure game Infamous: Second Son continue their downward spiral, the racing title slipping to position 28 from last week's 20, while Sucker Punch Productions' dystopian thriller barely clings to the chart, at position 40.

This week will most likely be as unspectacular as the last, as there are no big titles breaking the summer silence for now, which bodes well for Watch Dogs, as it will most likely get to keep its crown for a while longer.
