Ubisoft's Mexican division lets slip a potential release date

A brand new report has appeared online concerning the Watch Dogs Wii U release date, as apparently a now-deleted Facebook post from Ubisoft Mexico offered a November 18 launch date for the long-awaited game.

Watch Dogs has been eagerly anticipated by millions of people from around the world and ended up delivering a pretty decent experience across the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms when it launched at the end of spring.

Unfortunately, Wii U owners, who were anticipating a version for their own platforms, were served with a delay, as Ubisoft claimed that it needed more time to fully bring Watch Dogs onto the Nintendo console.

While the company offered a vague fall release period, it seems that its Mexican division jumped the gun on the more precise launch day. Yesterday, it told its Facebook followers, via NeoGAF, that they should look forward to playing Watch Dogs on the Wii U on November 18.

The post has since been deleted and apparently there are no screenshots with it, so take it as a report with a grain of salt until something official appears from Ubisoft.

Until then, it's a safe bet that Wii U owners should clear out their schedule during the month of November, so that they can experience Watch Dogs on their platform.
