There are still two months until the new and improved version of Dark Souls 2 will be launched on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, but for those who want a glimpse on the enhancements Bandai Namco has just released a new trailer.

Forlorn Hope shows fans some of the locations in Dark Souls II and its DLCs, but with supposedly improved visuals. Scholars of the First Sin will include all Dark Souls 2 DLCs, but also additional story content, 6-player multiplayer mode, balance changes and some redone enemy placement.

Those who already own the current version Dark Souls 2 will only receive some of the changes included in the Scholars of the First Sin, such as additional story content and the balance changes.

It’s also worth mentioning that after the release of Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin, the community of players will be split in two, as they will play the game on different servers.

The Scholar of the First Sin will be priced like a new triple A title, but those who own the original version may receive some discounts. However, this has yet to be confirmed by From Software and Bandai Namco.
