The developers at Eugen System and publishers at Focus Home Interactive have released seven new screenshots for their upcoming strategy title Wargame: European Escalation, focusing on the hardware that will be used by the nations of the Warsaw pact, the Communist alliance that opposed the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

There are 180 units that nations of the Warsaw Pact can use in battle, ranging from the fearsome T-80 main battle tank, designed specifically to flood Western forces with impenetrable armor, to the Mi-28 Havox gunship, designed to deliver close air support, and the huge Mi-26, the biggest chopper in the world, set to move supplies and troops to the frontline.

Wargame: European Escalation will cover the period between 1975 and 1985, the period when the Cold War was most likely to go hot, and will use the IRISZOOM engine, which allows both for tactical views to direct the action and close up camera setup to see the actual battles.
