The development team at Eugen Systems announces that it is launching a second piece of downloadable content for Wargame AirLand Battle, called Magna Carta, which introduces 12 new units to the game and adds new maps for players to fight on.

Fans of the military strategy will also get a major balance patch that is designed to make the combat scenarios of the game more interesting.

Wargame AirLand Battle players will be able to enjoy Gjoll and Asgard, which are designed for 20-player engagements, and 4 new smaller maps, Oslo, Orkolsvik, Karlstad and Aarhus.

Eugen Systems adds, “those nostalgic for the first Wargame will welcome the arrival of Three Miles Island, one of the most popular multiplayer maps in European Escalation, which is now playable in AirLand Battle in both Conquest and Destruction modes!”

The studio is already working on Wargame Red Dragon, which will simulate combat in South East Asia and will include new mechanics like naval support.
