The development team at Crytek announces that it is launching the Xbox 360 beta test for its Warface first person shooter in order to test the core concepts of the game on the Microsoft platform ahead of a spring launch.

The team explains that, "The class-based shooter enables beta players to experience different tactical approaches, gameplay styles and unique weapon sets of all four Warface classes: Rifleman, Medic, Engineer, and Sniper."

Warface is free-to-play and focuses on online experiences with the team at Crytek promising that it will deliver constant content updates after launch, adding more maps, weapons and boosts for gamers to use.
