Warface, Crytek's popular free-to-play multiplayer first-person shooter, is getting a brand new content piece soon, titled Operation Endless Skies.

The upcoming DLC will offer players the chance to engage in the high-speed tactical action of the game in a brand new setting, a cooperative African arena, where players will have to work together in order to take down Blackwood, a lumbering but deadly mech.

The ancient coliseum will provide an intriguing experience, combining a veritable gladiatorial setting, an ancient coliseum, with the thrill of futuristic weaponry.

Crytek has released a gameplay video showing off a battle against the giant mech, with a team of players attempting to distract the war machine's attention and engage it using various tactics.

The video shows off the various features of the arena, enabling gamers to take refuge from the onslaught and navigate it in several different ways during the engagement.

Operation Endless Skies also delivers five new cooperative maps, with distinct challenges and features, inspired by the rich and lush landscapes of Africa, from the sun-scorched desert to giant jungle dams. Waterfalls and ravines provide ample cover options for both you and your adversaries, so you need to be on your toes if you are to emerge victorious.
