Battlefield 4 developer DICE brings forth a brand new stage in the development of the its Community Map Project for the first-person shooter, this time asking fans to vote on the possible layouts and concepts of the new level.

Battlefield 4 has been around for quite some time now, and even if the next iteration in the series, Battlefield Hardline, is now available across PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms, many fans are still enjoying the multiplayer action in the older title.

For them, developer DICE is making a special map in cooperation with the community. Fans were already able to vote on the setting, and now a new poll has just been shared on the official website concerning the layout and concept.

According to DICE, once these two elements are nailed down, the team can actually start making the map, from textures to buildings, vehicles, and other such things.

Once this job is done, a very early version of the map will be available on the Battlefield 4 Community Test Environment, where fans can share more specific feedback with the studio about what works and what doesn't exactly feel right.

Afterwards, the polishing and certification stages will follow, and then the full-fledged release.
