Prestigious voice actor Robin Atkin Downes dismisses recent rumors concerning a possible reveal of a new Prince of Persia game at E3 2015. As such, fans of the series shouldn't get their hopes up about a new entry in the action-adventure franchise.

The Prince of Persia series has been around for many years, delighting tens of millions of fans all around the world throughout the generations.

Unfortunately, what with the rise to fame of the Assassin's Creed series, Ubisoft hasn't revisited its older franchise for quite some time now.

While some rumors and speculation about a revival or a reboot have appeared throughout the years, nothing was deemed certain.

Over the weekend, a tweet by prolific voice actor Robin Atkin Downes appeared, in which he mentioned that he would be at E3 2015 alongside Ubisoft. While that's not out of the ordinary, he also added hashtags for Prince of Persia and George Washington.

This led to quite a bit of speculation but he now claims that he was just highlighting some of the characters he'd voiced for Ubisoft over the years. He brought to life the Prince in Warrior Within and George Washington in Assassin's Creed 3.

As such, fans shouldn't get their hopes up about a new Prince of Persia announcement at E3 2015.
