Games will get new characters, a training mode and online room match

Video game publisher SEGA has announced that it will launch the upcoming Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown on the PlayStation Network from Sony on June 5 of this year and one day later on the Xbox Live Arcade from Microsoft.

The game will sell for 1200 Microsoft Points and 14.99 dollars or 12.99 Euro on the PSN.

Long-time fan favorite Taka-Arashi and newcomer Jean Kujo are the two new characters for the game and the console release adds a new Training Mode, Online Room Match Mode for 8 players and the ability to record, watch hand upload matches.

SEGA also plans to launch customization downloadable content packs for Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown immediately after launch.

Each gamer will be able to customize all 19 fighters as long as he is willing to pay 4.99 dollars or 4.49 Euro on the PSN for each characters or 400 Microsoft Points on the XBLA.
