Kevin Flynn, a developer who has worked on the Battlefield 3 launch in the United Kingdom, is moving to the team that's set to supervise the release of Call of Duty: Ghosts in the same territory.

The executive worked with the United Kingdom division of Electronic Arts and has also been linked with the Premium downloadable content for the video game.

The information comes from his LinkedIn profile and Flynn has not offered any reason for the switch.

In the fall, developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision will launch Call of Duty: Ghosts, while DICE and Electronic Arts will deliver Battlefield 4, aiming to capture the first-person shooter market.

Both series are expected to sell well and then make the move to the next generation of consoles from Sony and Microsoft.
