Gamers will be able to experience on the Xbox One, the PS4 and future PCs

The development team at Epic Games has already impressed fans with its demo for Unreal Engine 4 and the company is now ready to offer more info on the actual features of the new tech.

The studio explains that, “Epic's Tim Elek and Zak Parrish go under the hood of Unreal Engine 4 to show how artists utilized a host of visual effects, including advanced GPU particle simulation and collision, materials, dynamic particle lights and other VFX to create the Infiltrator real-time demonstration.”

Unreal Engine 4 is specifically designed to take advantage of the new power of the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, but also of the advances in PC-based hardware.

Epic Games is also working on Fortnite, a team game that will use most of the features of the engine.

The title is set to arrive at some point in 2014.
