Developer 2x2 Games and publisher Dvaput are launching new downloadable content for their strategy game Unity of Command: Stalingrad Campaign, designed to allow players to take control of the Soviet forces as they launch a counter-attack after the Battle of Kursk.

The new content, called Red Turn, costs 9.99 dollars or Euro and includes quite a bit of new content, like more unit types, new scenarios and four new maps that are designed specifically for Player versus Player matches.

The official description says, “Dying days of the Stalingrad Campaign saw the Wehrmacht reeling under heavy blows. The battle of Kursk will now see them pursue an offensive agenda for one last time. Soon after, as the strategic initiative swings in favor of the Soviets, you are tasked with liberating the motherland in command of victorious Red Army forces.”

2x2 Games says that Red Turn for Unity of Command: Stalingrad Campaign also opens up a number of modding options.
