Both devices will offer plenty of value to gamers

Yves Guillemot, the leader of video game publisher Ubisoft, believes that both Sony and Microsoft have set a good price for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.

The executive is quoted by NeoGAF as saying that, “For the hardware they're putting on the market, the price is right. They are offering machines that will be exceptional, and for those prices, they're good deals.”

Some analysts believe that in the current depressed economy it’s unreasonable to ask between 399 and 499 dollars or Euro for a gaming device.

Sony and Microsoft are both saying that their devices value above their market price and will allow gamers to access new types of experiences not possible on the Xbox 360 or the PlayStation 3.

Both next-gen home consoles will be out in November.
