Ubisoft has confirmed that it's started planning movie adaptations of not one, but four of its big franchises, in the form of Far Cry, Watch Dogs, Ghost Recon, and Rabbids.

Ubisoft has had a keen interest in film adaptations of its big series, and the publisher's Motion Pictures division is working with Hollywood companies to release movies based on the Assassin's Creed and the Splinter Cell franchises.

Now, according to Variety, Ubisoft has begun planning movie adaptations of four more games, in the form of Watch Dogs, Far Cry, Ghost Recon, and Rabbids.

All four projects will be overseen by Ubisoft, which will fund the development of the scripts and will find production companies interested in their actual creation.

As of yet, no other details are known, but fans should expect to hear more about the four movies in the following months.
