The only exception to this policy is Just Dance

Ubisoft doesn't intend to deliver any more video games on last-gen platforms, focusing all its efforts on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 home consoles.

The company published its financial report for fiscal year 2015, revealing that it's leaving the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 devices in the dust, with Just Dance being the only franchise to still land on the systems.

Ubisoft Chief Executive Officer Yves Guillemot announced that, starting this fiscal year, the publisher would not be developing and releasing any more titles for last-gen platforms.

The company made no mention of Nintendo's Wii U console, but given the lack of interest from other major publishers in the recent past, it's unlikely that we'll see it getting much attention in the future.

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, Rainbow Six: Siege, and The Division will not get ported to the old generation of home consoles, and neither will the yet unannounced AAA mystery title currently in development at the company.

Ubisoft is planning a surprise announcement later in the year, after this year's edition of the E3 convention, and a lot of people are hoping for a new Ghost Recon, or at least a reboot of the Prince of Persia franchise.

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time was universally considered to be very good, but subsequent entries in the series ended up being criticized for being less and less innovative and exciting.
