Assassin's Creed Unity, the next iteration in the action adventure series from Ubisoft, is targeting a 1080p native resolution and a 30fps framerate on the PS4 and Xbox One when it debuts this fall.

Assassin's Creed games have delivered massive open worlds and great adventures over the years across many different platforms. With last year's Black Flag, the series made its debut on the PS4 and Xbox One and caused a bit of a heated debate concerning its performance on the two consoles, as it reached a native resolution of 1080p on PS4 and a lower one on Xbox One.

With this year's Assassin's Creed Unity, the Ubisoft Montreal team is targeting a 1080p native resolution and a 60fps framerate on both the PS4 and the Xbox One.

This is at least according to Level Designer Bruno St. Andre, who talked with GamingBolt about the technical stats of the game.

Ubisoft previously bragged about the technical achievements of the new title, emphasizing how its huge world and complex mechanics aren't even possible on PS3 or Xbox 360.

No other details were given, but you can expect Ubisoft to share quite a few more info about Unity as we get closer to its release for PC, PS4, and Xbox One this October.
