14 DAY TRIAL // James Russell, a lead game designer working at The Creative Assembly, says that his team is getting ready to announce an entirely new and mysterious Total War video game during the Game Developers Conference.
The developer states via Twitter that, “Very excited that in my #GDC talk tomorrow, I can announce a new @totalwar game in development - and it's like nothing we've done before...”
The Creative Assembly is rumored to be working on an unannounced Aliens game, but it’s unlikely that it will use the Total War brand.
The studio also has a great relation with publisher SEGA that has recently secured the rights to the Warhammer fantasy franchise, which would be better suited to the Total War treatment.
Total War: Rome 2 is set to launch on the PC during October of this year.
