The development team at The Creative Assembly is delivering a new small hotfix for Total War: Rome II, which is designed to deal with some issues in the recently launched Wrath of Sparta expansion and make sure that the bigger recent update works as it should.

Generals in the new, more focused campaign should now actually use their spears in battle, gamers will no longer see shield decals on the necks of Roman units, and the Sacred Band of the Carthaginians have the right colors.

The Creative Assembly says players should continue to offer feedback on both the core campaign and the Wrath of Sparta content in order to make sure that any problems will be eliminated in the near future.

The most recent campaign allows gamers to control four Greek factions that are fighting for control of the country and also need to deal with attacks from the Persian Empire.

At the same time, the team at The Creative Assembly is aiming to put the finishing touches on Total War: Attila, which is expected to arrive in the middle of February on the PC.

The new title will allow gamers to experience the fall of the Roman Empire and the brutal fighting that’s associated with the attacks of the Huns and other migratory tribes.
