The teams at developer The Creative Assembly and publisher SEGA are launching a new trailer for their upcoming Total War: Rome 2, focused on the historical figure of Cleopatra.

The queen of Egypt is one of the most famous and controversial figures of the Ancient era, especially for the way she dealt with Cesar and his heirs and for the way she chose to die rather than be captured.

The Total War: Rome 2 trailer shows the campaign map, which is redesigned and offers new options for players.

There are also some battle sequences that will be expanded upon during the coming E3 2013 trade show.

Total War: Rome 2 will be out on September 3 on the PC and those who pre-order the game will get access to three new Greek factions.
