The development team at Runic Games announces that its action role-playing game Torchlight II is now fully integrated with the Steam Workshop initiative from Valve, which means that it’s easier than ever for players to download and use mods for the title.

The team states that, “when playing Internet games in the lobby, you will be able to filter modded games by mod combination, and with a single button click, subscribe to those mods. Torchlight II will then restart, synchronize them, and activate them before returning you to the game.”

Steam Workshop is also fully integrated with GUTS, the Torchlight 2 editor, and mods that have already been created are easy to adapt and import into the game using the new system.

The Workshop integration for Torchlight 2 includes: NetherRealm tileset, monsters, armor sets, weapons, pets including the Headcrab.
