14 DAY TRIAL // The upcoming reboot of the Tomb Raider series has just received a series of impressive new screenshots that show off the adventures heroine Lara Croft will go through in the game.
The Tomb Raider series has had a long and relatively troubled past, with the first games earning a cult-like following while more recent installments didn't really please the fans of the franchise.
With Tomb Raider, however, developer Crystal Dynamics reboots the series both in terms of story, as it stars a young Lara Croft, and in terms of gameplay, with a more distinct cinematic action adventure feel, just like the Uncharted games, for example.
This gameplay is showcased in the new screenshots that have just appeared on the web, via AGB.
As you can see in the photo gallery below, the images are quite impressive and show Lara in a variety of situations, either sneaking and crouching in cover or taking on enemies head on by using her array of weapons.
