Crystal Dynamics, the developer behind the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot, has confirmed that the game’s single-player campaign will last around 12 to 15 hours to complete, depending on the play style of the actual player.

The long-running Tomb Raider franchise will receive a big reboot next year, in the form of the simply-titled Tomb Raider, which stars a young Lara Croft and features a grittier experience for the heroine.

According to Crystal Dynamics’ Global Brand Director, Karl Stewart, the single-player campaign of the new game will last around 12 to 15 hours, depending on the player.

He also mentioned on Twitter that Lara Croft will have regenerative health in the game but she can’t swim.

When asked if a sequel will be made if the reboot is a successful one, Stewart said that “of course” Crystal Dynamics would make a new game.

As of yet, however, the studio is focusing on the finishing Tomb Raider and getting it ready for its launch on March 5, 2013, for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
