The development team at Ubisoft working on Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online announces that it plans to launch the game on the PC via the Steam Early Access service at some point in spring, with gamers in Canada able to access it right now.

Corey Facteau, a producer working on the game, is quoted by Polygon as saying that, "As the top shooter for gamers who enjoy team gameplay, we have also seen our audience expand to include MOBA fans, who comprise fifty percent of our user base."

He also believes that a launch on Early Access will mean that Ubisoft has plenty of time to tweak core aspects of the game based on feedback coming from the community.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online is a team-based shooter that will include 16-player matches and will offer extensive customization options for characters and a wide array of weapons to use during battles.
