Titanfall will require 48GB of HDD space on the PC platform and the actual download size of the game's digital edition is 21GB, according to developer Respawn Entertainment.

Microsoft unveiled yesterday that Titanfall's digital edition on the Xbox One requires around 40GB of space on the console's hard disk.

Now, Respawn Entertainment co-founder Vince Zampella revealed some actual details about the PC edition of the game.

According to his Twitter, Titanfall on the PC platform will need around 48GB of space on the computer's hard disk drive.

Gamers who got the digital edition of the game, however, will only have to download 21GB of files, according to Zampella, who confirmed that the actual version downloaded from EA's Origin digital distribution service is highly compressed.

This is pretty good news for PC owners who got the downloadable edition of the game, as they won't have to deal with a very large download.

Even so, they still need to make sure that they have enough space on their hard drive, as 48GB is still a bit huge for a game these days. They also need to take into account the extra time that will be spent by their computer decompressing the files.
