A brand new report concerning Titanfall has just appeared online, claiming that the title will have 16 maps at launch and that the low-res textures in the game's alpha build are final on the Xbox One console.

Update: Respawn Entertainment has dismissed the fact that Titanfall's alpha textures will be shipped with the game on Xbox One.

Titanfall launches in March, and so far not a lot is known about the multiplayer shooter from Respawn Entertainment, as the studio is still keeping things under a shroud of secrecy.

A brand new report has appeared online from NeoGAF user CBoaT, claiming that the Xbox One edition of Titanfall will be released with the low-res textures seen in the alpha test of the game.

The PC edition will have improved textures, according to the same report, and the game is going to be shipped with 16 maps at launch in March.

As of yet, Respawn hasn't commented on the rumor, although it did clarify during the alpha that the low-res textures weren't going to appear in the final game.
