Project Cars is one of the hottest racing titles to come this year, and being a cross-platform game, many people are wondering how the different versions will stack up to each other.

So far, developer Slightly Mad Studios has released gameplay footage captured on the PC version of the game, but now we have finally got some PlayStation 4 gameplay too.

The video below shows Project Cars running on a PS4 home console, recorded at 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second.

It looks great and handles great, offering a great selection of vehicles and some pretty challenging tracks.

The best thing about the whole thing is that Slightly Mad Studios didn't get funding in the traditional manner, by approaching a publisher or hosting a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, but rather raised the funds themselves from the community, which also made their supporters more involved in the development process.

Project Cars is scheduled for release on March 17 in North America and March 20 in Europe, headed to the Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms. The Wii U and SteamOS editions of the racing game will be released at a later date this year.
