Sumthing Else Music Works announces that it plans to launch the Thief Director's Cut Original Soundtrack on February 25, both in physical form and as a digital download on services including iTunes, Amazon.com, Sumthing.com and more.

The compilation is based on the compositions of Luc St. Pierre's, who has created an atmospheric and ominous set of tracks that are designed to show off the world that Garrett needs to explore.

The soundtrack uses classical orchestra pieces recorded with the FILMharmonic Orchestra of Prague, electroacoustic compositions and electronic soundscapes.

The new Thief is rebooting the entire narrative of the series, with a new City for gamers to explore, a mysterious and evil Baron to battle, a plague complicating travel through the city and more social and political themes to discover than before.

The game will be launched on the PlayStation 4, the PC, the Xbox One and current-gen consoles on February 25 in North America and three days later in Europe.
