The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt developer CD Projekt Red confirms that its internal testers have managed to make a speedrun of the upcoming role-playing experience in about 25 hours.

The Witcher 3 launches this May, and Polish studio CD Projekt Red has made it clear several times that fans of the series and of RPGs in general are going to spend over 100 hours in the new title.

Now, in order to emphasize the length of the core story and its missions, the team confirms to GameReactor that its internal testers currently have the speedrun record at 25 hours. As such, even with the knowledge of people who went through the game many times as part of their tests, a huge amount of time is still needed to complete it.

Previously, CD Projekt Red mentioned that the main story should require about 50 hours, while the side content would bring at least 50 more hours on top of that.

Considering the game's huge world, as well as its dynamic situations and mechanics, fans should expect to spend even more time with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt once it launches in May for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms. Expect to hear much more about it in the following weeks.
