In case you were wondering how CD Projekt RED's upcoming role-playing game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, plays on the PlayStation 4 home console from Sony, there's now a gameplay video with commentary available.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming out on May 19, and so far it's shaping up to be a serious contender for this year's best video game. It's headed to the Xbox One, PS4 and PC platforms, and it looks absolutely stunning.

The video comes from PlayStation Access, outlining the features of the upcoming title and showing how well it runs on the PS4 device, with stable frame rates and looking every bit as gorgeous as it does on PC.

Of course, due to the huge performance advantage of high-end PCs, things are bound to be a little different between platforms, but it's not nearly as bad as some would have you think.

Numerous gamers have been discussing the fact that the game got a visual downgrade since it was first unveiled, and were worried about how well it would run on the Xbox One and PS4. Now they can see for themselves.

The Wild Hunt is a classic European myth, and the third entry in the franchise will have protagonist Geralt of Rivia go against an otherworldly army, in addition to the usual array of fantasy monsters, while at the same time unraveling some of the mysteries of his past.
