CD Projekt RED's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been made official earlier today, though some details were only revealed some moments ago, along with the game's reveal trailer.

The good news is the game will be launched as early as 2014 simultaneously on all “high-end platforms.”

Sadly, CD Projekt RED confirmed this would be the last title in the Witcher series, though this will allow the company to focus on other projects such as Cyberpunk 2077.

“People may ask if this is really going to be the last Witcher game. Yes, it is. Why? Because we believe that we should end the series on a high note. Technology has progressed to where we can finally tell the story the way we want, with the visuals we want, in the world we imagined,” said Adam Badowski, head of the studio.

He also revealed the world of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is no less than 30 times bigger than The Witcher 2 and that the game will feature a “completely new level of nonlinearity.”
