CD Projekt Red has confirmed that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the next-gen role-playing game that it's going to release in 2014, will feature plenty of customization options as well as many items that can be collected by protagonist Geralt.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set to debut next year for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms, and CD Projekt Red has confirmed that it's made lots of improvements over the previous The Witcher 2.

One area that's been augmented is the customization one, as players can choose lots of different things for Geralt, and feel like they're progressing in terms of strength and skill by collecting different items and accumulating experience.

"The Witcher 3 will offer a bigger variety in terms of the amount of items you can collect. Your abilities will grow, enemies will get tougher and bigger. The amount of options available to the player are huge," the game's producer, Marek Ziemak, told VG247.

More details about The Witcher 3 are set to appear in the future, as we get closer to 2014.

The game is designed to offer a conclusion for the Geralt saga and will deal with a variety of narrative threads that were introduced in the previous two titles.

CD Projekt RED will deliver a range of cool new tweaks for the role-playing title's mechanics.
