CD Projekt Red, the Polish studio behind The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, has just deployed a fresh developer diary video in which several members of its team talk about the upcoming adaptation of the game for the Xbox 360 platform.

The Witcher 2 impressed millions of PC owners last year, when it was released for that platform. The studio is currently working on the game's Enhanced Edition, which will appear not just for the PC but also for the Xbox 360 console this year.

We already knew quite a few things about the game, but CD Projekt Red has now deployed the first developer diary for the upcoming role playing game. In it, several members of its team talk about the Xbox 360 version of The Witcher 2 and how it's more of an adaptation than a straight up port.

The studio rewrote core systems, such as the graphics or the combat ones, while polishing the targeting mechanics and even the interface, in order to make them simpler to use with a Xbox 360 controller.

Check out the full details in the video above and get ready for The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition on the Xbox 360 and PC on April 17.
