The development team at Maxis and publisher Electronic Arts are announcing that they are celebrating May the 4th day in The Sims 4 by launching a new update for the title, introducing some new Star Wars-focused costumes.

Gamers will be able to dress their characters as Darth Maul from Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, bounty hunter Boba Fett, and Aayla Secura, a powerful Jedi Master.

Since 2014, gamers had access to costumes based on Princess Leia, Darth Vader, Rebel pilots, and Yoda.

Maxis adds, "Just be sure to keep the Sim dressed like Darth Vader away from the Sim dressed like Darth Maul - we don’t want to fall into any plot holes, here. Happy Star Wars day everyone!"

Electronic Arts is the video game company that is currently working with Disney in order to create titles based on Star Wars.

The first big release is a new Battlefront title, which is created by DICE and supposed to arrive on November 17, complete with extra DLC which will be based on The Force Awakens.

BioWare is also working on a title based on Star Wars, which will have a bigger narrative focus, but no information has been offered so far on the story that it will be telling.
