Sony's European boss, Jim Ryan, has revealed after the PlayStation 4's announcement yesterday, that the next generation console could also appear in Europe at the end of 2013, not just in North America.
Yesterday Sony presented to the world its upcoming console, in the form of the PlayStation 4, alongside quite a lot of impressive games and technologies, and confirmed that the new device would come out in the holiday season of 2013 in North America.
Now, Sony's European boss, Jim Ryan, has revealed to MCV that the PlayStation 4 could also hit Europe at the end of the year.
"We're not saying if Holiday 2013 includes Europe at this stage," Ryan said. "We are only saying we will launch the system before the end of 2013, we're not saying in which parts of the world. But don't infer anything good or bad from that."
As of yet, Sony is still withholding quite a few details about the PS4, including its actual design, so expect to hear lots more about the console this summer at E3 2013.
