Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has shared his thoughts on the PlayStation 4 console from Sony and confirmed that it's excellent for photorealistic games, like his own Ground Zeroes, as it can render 1080p at 60fps "with room to spare."

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes is set to launch this spring for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, and it looks quite impressive judging by recent videos and screenshots with the game.

According to Kojima, however, the best version is the PS4 one, as he shared his thoughts about the device with Japanese magazine Famitsu, via DualShockers.

"I think, between the home consoles available in the domestic market, the PS4 is the best. It’s also excellent for graphics, being able to render 1080p at 60fps with room to spare. Since it does it a little better than other hardware, the image quality of the PS4 is the most beautiful. It’s the closest to the photorealistic quality we are aiming at."

Kojima previously said that Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain would appear when the PS4 is adopted worldwide.
