The development team at Ready at Dawn and publisher Sony are ready to show gamers the control scheme of the upcoming The Order: 1886, giving all those interested in the action title a chance to familiarize themselves with it ahead of the official launch date.

The title will be played from a third-person perspective and involves both hand-to-hand battles and ranged combat, which means that the development team needs to make sure that it’s easy for players to switch between the two while also having full control over the movement of their characters.

The video suggests that The Order: 1886 will make it easy for players to get into cover and explore the various combat abilities of the game’s protagonist.

The Order: 1886 is set in an alternate version of the XIX century in which a human order of knights, using a mysterious substance to enhance their power and extend their lives, is battling monsters that blend human DNA and beast abilities.

The experience will mix classic weapons, some cool monster designs and innovative elements like zeppelins, thermal imaging, and powerful armor made from new materials.

The title is set to be launched on the PlayStation 4 home console on February 20 of this year.
