Video game developer Ready at Dawn and publisher Sony are announcing that they are adding a new Photo Mode for The Order: 1886 in a new patch for the title, allowing gamers to easily capture images of the world, the characters, or the combat.

A tutorial video has been created in order to make it easy for players to learn how to use the feature and the fully autonomous camera.

The two companies add, "Since The Order: 1886 is completely rendered in real-time with no pre-rendered frames, you’re able to play in a customized look from beginning to end. If at any time you want to change Color Grading styles during gameplay, simply enter Photo Mode and make your adjustment."

Sony is also launching a contest for those who want to use the Photo Mode in The Order: 1886.

There are four categories and gamers can send in their images before April 27 for a chance to pick up swag packs for The Order: 1886 and signed prints of their photos.

The title is only offered on the PlayStation 4, but most reviewers and fans were not satisfied with the quality of the experience that it offered on launch.

The biggest problems were the repetitive campaign and the limited mechanics included.
