14 DAY TRIAL // Kenji Kaido, who has worked as a producer at Team ICO on both the Shadow of the Colossus and Ico itself, has announced that he is leaving Sony the Japanese division of Sony Computer Entertainment, stating that at the moment his plans for the future are undecided.
Sony has not commented on the developer’s resignation and made no comment on what it might mean for the future of The Last Guardian, the game that Team ICO is currently working on.
Director Fumito Ueda and producer Yoshifusa Hayama are two other high-profile names that have left the game during the last year.
The Last Guardian has no longer been shown at tradeshows by Sony and the company has stated the project faced a number of technical difficulties.
Still, Sony insists that the game is still in full development and that it will soon have more gameplay and more screenshots to show to the eager fan base.
