This year’s edition of The Game Awards will play host to more than a dozen world premieres, both new games and fresh footage from the most anticipated upcoming titles.

The information comes from a tweet made by Geoff Keighley, host of the show, teasing the gaming community in regards to what’s coming.

Last year’s VGX brought us – among other things – the unveiling of Hello Games’ No Man’s Sky, an exciting and brightly colored procedurally generated exploration game with purple dinosaurs and a sprawling universe to be discovered.

Other notable games featured include Titanfall, Quantum Break, Dying Light, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Tales from the Borderlands, and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.

This year’s edition, kicking off on Friday, December 5, in Las Vegas, will bring a similar mix of new game trailers and some new game announcements. Although Fallout 4 is unlikely to be on the new games list, we’ll hopefully get a few nice surprises.

The awards show will measure the merits of innumerable game developers in a bunch of different categories. The Game Awards 2014’s nominees were announced last week on Twitch, and the contenders for Game of the Year are Dark Souls 2, Bayonetta 2, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Hearthstone, and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.
