Gamers need to try until they get into a queue

The development team at ZeniMax Online and publisher Bethesda are saying that the problems that Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players are having with the login process for The Elder Scrolls Online are linked to the amount of traffic that the servers are now getting.

The two companies are stating on the official site that gamers should try to log into the title until they get the message that they have been placed into a queue.

They add, "Once you're in the queue, please do not leave the queue, close the game client, or otherwise navigate away from this screen. We’re working to get you into Tamriel as quickly as we can. Thanks for your continued patience and support during our console launch!"

Gamers have been reporting the problem since the title went live on the two home consoles on June 9, and it seems that a full solution will not be offered very soon.

Some PS4 and Xbox One The Elder Scrolls Online players are reporting that they have been unable to reach the queue screen despite their repeated attempts to log in.

It's unclear whether ZeniMax Online can solve the problem via an upgrade to the servers on which the MMO runs or if its impact will be lessened as a smaller number of players try to get into the game.
