Video game developers Massive and Reflections and publisher Ubisoft are announcing that they are officially delaying the launch of Tom Clancy's The Division to 2015 in order to make sure that all involved companies have the time they need to create a solid game experience.

The announcement explains that, "Working on The Division is a once in a lifetime opportunity for all of us at Massive, Reflections, and Red Storm Entertainment. We are creating something we are really proud of and we don't want to compromise on quality. We are going to release the game when it's ready."

The involved parties are eager to thank gamers for their support so far and promise that they will make no compromises related to the Division in the future.

More information about the title will be offered during this year's edition of the E3 trade show.

The Division is a post-apocalyptic mix of action and MMO mechanics that will allow gamers to create a character and then deploy to a major American city in order to keep order and help rebuild civilization after a major outbreak kills much of the population.

The title uses the new Snowdrop engine, which is capable of delivering impressive graphics.
