The online game will feature plenty of realistic experiences

Ubisoft has confirmed that, throughout the development of its upcoming The Division online survival game, it consulted with a variety of experts, from former CIA agents to military personnel or doctors, as well as experts in various cataclysmic scenarios.

The Division impressed plenty of E3 2013 attendants not just with its great gameplay mechanics that promised to deliver an online action adventure RPG experiences, but also with its premise.

The story focuses on a division of agents in charge with maintaining the peace during a virus outbreak in New York City.

Ubisoft consulted on this premise with lots of experts, according to a new material posted by ElectronicTheatre.

"For The Division, we have consulted with ex CIA agents, the military, survivalists, doctors, as well as experts in this kind of scenario," the company said.

What’s more, some of the developers at Ubisoft Massive have also taken plenty of survival courses over the years and know just what things to implement in the online game.

The Division is set to appear for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next year.
