Developers are discussing about bringingTerraria 2, the sequel of the adventure sandbox game Terraria, to other platforms.

No new details about the game's new features are available since the developing team hasn't really started production.

Even so, taking into account that the original game was first released on PC, following up with Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, iOS and Android, with the sequel they are looking to expand even more and have Terraria 2 available for new platforms.

Creator Andrew “Redigit” Spinks tells PG that “I am wanting to code Terraria 2 in a more portable language so it can be released on multiple platforms at launch or close to launch.”

Unfortunately, 3DS is not an option, as the system cannot actually run Terraria in the manner the game needs to be run. Therefore, Nintendo 3DS fans won't be able to experience the game.

The developers promise that the sequel will have “infinite worlds” ready to be explored, as well as diversity from numerous points of view.

For now, players can play the original game or can wait until Terraria 2 reaches Vita.
