Tera, the action MMORPG from En Masse Entertainment, has reached over 1.4 million users after its transformation into a free-to-play experience and is celebrating this milestone with a five-day Dracoloths Rising event that has new monsters and great loot.

Tera came out last year and promised to deliver a more action-oriented take on the different online role-playing games out there.

Sadly, the game wasn't that big of a success due to its monthly subscription, so publisher En Masse turned it into a free-to-play experience at the beginning of the year.

Since then, users have flocked to the game and have taken the number of players up to 1.4 million, a new record for the online title.

As a token of appreciation, En Masse has confirmed that a special five-day Dracoloths Rising event is now underway, with huge monsters and improved loot drops.

What's more, this summer will see the release of a special 20-person raid, a 20v20 battleground, and a new alliance system for Tera.
