Bandai Namco has released a new trailer showing the newest addition to Tekken 7's roster pulling off some impressive moves.

The video highlights the moveset of Gigas, a brand new addition to the popular fighting video game series. Gigas is a huge, lumbering monstrosity of uncertain origins, with tubing and numerous bolts present on his body.

The brute looks like a cross between Craig Marduk and Jack, or Bane, the Batman villain, and some members of the gaming community even brought Regigias from Pokemon into the discussion.

In any case, he will join Katarina Alves, Claudio Serafino, Lucky Chloe and Shaheen, as brand new characters in the series, bringing a much needed infusion of fresh gameplay to the long-running franchise.

Tekken 7 was announced last year, and since then it made its debut in Japanese arcades, where players can already enjoy its action and some of the new gameplay features it delivers.

The game runs in 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second, and is powered by Unreal Engine 4, delivering some of the most impressive visuals in the series.

Gigas will be playable in Japanese arcades starting tomorrow, April 28. For the time being, there is no official word on when the game will be released on other platforms.
