The development team at Media Molecule and publisher Sony deliver a new trailer for their upcoming Tearaway that's designed to explain exactly why the new game could not exist on any other device than the PlayStation Vita.

The team explains on the official Sony blog that gamers will, "solve perplexing puzzles with the tilt; defeat your enemies with the front touch pad; capture and customize your journey together with the front and rear cameras and microphone; and reach into the game with the rear touch pad."

The Tearaway experience is described as being entirely hands-on, with the player using the various features of the Sony handheld to guide the various characters.

Gamers who pre-order the new title from Media Molecule will be able to get access to a number of exclusive bonuses, including special costumes for their Little Big Planet Sackboys and extra content linked to the platformer.
