The development team at Media Molecule and publisher Sony are getting ready to launch Tearaway on the PlayStation Vita on Friday and a launch trailer is now available, offering players a quick exploration of the papercraft world they will be able to access.

On the official PS Blog, the team also says that it has launched a community site for the title, called Tearaway.me, designed to store and share all the photos and models that the fans will create.

Media Molecule says, “You can check it out right now, and get a few free papercraft models for signing in, even before you own the game. You’ll also see some of the photos of people who have been reviewing Tearaway.”

A free trial of Tearaway will also be offered on Friday via the PlayStation Network, allowing those still on the fence to experience the core mechanics of the game.

It will allow players to unlock the full game in order to make sure that all their progress is stored.
