The development team at Media Molecule has announced that its PlayStation Vita based video game Tearaway will not be launched on its original date and is now delayed to November 22 of this year.

The team states on the official PlayStation Blog that, “We are now in the final stages of development, and have come to the realisation that we need a little more time than we anticipated to finish the game; to tie all of the mechanics, story and amazing visuals together into the adventure that we want you to play.”

Rex Crowle, the creative lead working on Tearaway at Media Molecule, says that his studio is dedicated to creating an experience that will amaze those who own a PlayStation Vita.

The game is designed to use all the features that Sony has packed into its handheld and will use third-person adventure genre mechanics.
